John Porter Doors Ltd is a privately owned firm that produces doors, doorsets, frames, skirting, window boards, and all related joinery from its 132,000 sq.ft., UK factory.

The company, which was founded in 1932, produces fire-rated, hospital, acoustic, x-ray, ultra-clean and wet area doors and doorsets and is one of six national manufacturers approved by the DHSS for the supply of internal doorsets under the Health Technical Memorandum 58 arrangements, which provides a robust specification of heavy duty doors and sets for high traffic environments, including health applications.

The HTM58 standard of Doorset is provided as our standard offer for Public Buildings, this was developed in 1974 by John Porter and we have provided over ½ Million Sets into Royal Buildings, Hospitals, Schools, Universities, Offices, MOD premises, Prisons, Mental Health Units.

FSC and PEFC certification can also be provided to assist companies with their BREEAM environmental credentials.
