Baltic Arts Centre, Gateshead
John Porter's performance doorsets were used extensively in the conversion of the Baltic Flour Mill which became the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art (BALTIC), Gateshead, North of England, in 2002. Doorsets feature a matt, white factory painted easy-clean finish for this high-traffic facility.

Epsom Downs Racecourse – New Grandstand – The Duchess Stand
Existing doors made at the function rooms of the Epsom Downs Racecourse, made from fine paldeo timber, have been matched with a more economic and equally attractive American black walnut for the new Duchess Grandstand. This alternative has overcome the challenge of colour matching and consistency of finish and has kept the project on budget.
